May not be on topic for the board but we share many non motorcycle related thoughts here and thought some of you may also be a fan.
My biggest rock hero died yesterday and he will be missed by Musicians and fans everywhere.
I met him at a show I did with my band in Reno Nevada in the late 80s
He was a great and kind man to all that knew him.
Not many people knew that he organized and produced Hear N Aid that gave over 1m dollars to famine relief in Africa.

Today my heart is broken, Ronnie passed away at 7:45am 16th May.
Many, many friends and family were able to say their private good-byes before he peacefully passed away.
Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all.
We so appreciate the love and support that you have all given us.
Please give us a few days of privacy to deal with this terrible loss.
Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever.
