You see the signs on the doors, the info in the ads.........

Voted "Best Around " by News Journal readers.

Now, where do I find the list of these merchants?

Damn. I was hoping this was going to be some new great restaurant to eat at. :p

Better yet, who is doing all of this voting? What are their credentials? Are the winners of these awards simply coating the pockets of the News Journal, or is this all legit?

My company was voted "Best Around" for 16 years now and I have no clue who actually votes or where it's posted.

But trust me on this-we do not pay the NJ for that...we probably would if we could.

My realty firm has been voted "Best Around" 19 years...the voters are those who receive the Sunday home delivery News-Journal. The N-J prints a supplement to the paper in late summer with the roster of winners.
Check with the newspaper for the list. Should they be unable to help, I can likely find an old copy if you need it.

Wait ... so you're telling me that people still read printed news papers?

I still have yet to try a burger there-but I can't believe that they are better than Brickyard...

I've never had a Brickyard burger, although their Rueben isn't half bad.

Not better...just different.

Daily Grind sells great specialty burgers while Brickyard makes a better "regular" burger. IMO, of course. ;)

If any of you are fans of Gaff's Meats in OB, I was told they own The Daily Grind hence why the burgers are so D@#N good!!!

Agreed! The Aztec and South of The Border are two good burgers. Yes I believe Gaff's does have some stake in Daily Grind. I understand they are going to open a location in Ormond very soon. I think they are going in the old Tijuana Flats last I heard.

Doesn't surprise me.

Honestly they need to move their current location in PO, seems like every time I go there it's packed. Really surprised they haven't moved over to the Pavilion yet.

I agree, that PO location is tuff to get in and that parking is difficult. The Pavilion wont work since they already have 2 other burger places their and I am sure the rent isnt cheap. But competition can be good.

Umm I think we're confused...I was talking bout High Five being pricey...not a Burger Place...On that note not impressed by 5 guys, Red Robin, loved tho...
