View Full Version : Some kind of group buy for the track day
Is there enough of a collection of people needing something specific for the track day coming up ? Throw up some ideas and obviously price is a factor but Im thinking, Tires for the low is the way to go, Maybe even do a tech night at my shop where Ill just slave away and mount tires non stop. LMK your thoughts and Ill see what I can do. Also maybe with a set of tires if someone wants more stuff like new brake fluid, oil etc i can add that stuff in there with a discount.

Tires are always a good group buy
However getting any three riders to agree on the same tire is ...well...
Good to have you local Kris !

If you want to buy a front and a rear just add one to your cart and then press the back button change the option for the tire to the rear you want and add it to your cart again, lmk if you have any problems
Ive got a few tires in stock but depending on if everyone orderes them at once, worst case ill have them in a few days. Ill only be doing this for 2 weeks.

Sweet.
The Power Pure is an improvement on the 2CT, right? At least that's how Michelin seems to be posturing it.

Thats how I felt, these tires will be good for after the track day on the street along with being an awesome tire for everyone at jennings.

What do you guys recommend? The Power Pures or the Diablo Corsas? The Power One is probably entirely too much tire for my riding abilities.

Don't forget to add the 10$ (forum members, $25 normally) each tire to mount it if you don't buy it from me but free if you buy them from me, if they are off the bike. Not to mention being a douche bag for not buying from someone who supports to forum.

Welcome to what I dealt with for almost 2 years everyday Kris.:p
To those that don't know, the conversation that will occur when Kris mounts your tires for free is worth more than what most of us have in our bank accounts;)

Not for nothin, but SportBikeTrackGear sponsors another forum that I frequent. By the time it's all said and done, I figure this track day will cost me ~$1500. That's not chump change, and I'd be a fool not to save where I can.
It's very nice of you to mount the tires you sell for free. That certainly helps offset the cost difference.

Yea it's 2.1 not 2,1
Edit: That tire thing is a joke. I picked a 600rr with trackday/ street riding and it said I needed a power1. I then picked a Busa with street riding only and it said I needed a power1...

Ditto for the GSXR, says PowerOne regardless of what I pick. I'll probably place my order for Pures when I get home tonight, if I remember. How much is installation if we just ride in, and how long does it take?

So go push for them on THAT forum, or even start your own thread here, but you don't just dump on someone who is trying to help members of THIS forum right in the middle of the thread where he is trying to help!

REALLY!? Get lost dude. Kris said his bit and posted that he'd be installing for free, I agreed that it was certainly a benefit when buying from him and even went so far as to tell him that it was a nice gesture. It's been days since that was said and here you are trying to stir up shit again. If you've got something to say to me, then PM me. Otherwise, stop making public drama and stay out of it.
