Looking to get my wheels powder coated before having my new tires mounted. Other than Powder Kote Plus in Port Orange (behind DMS) does anyone know of anyone / place that powder coats ?
Thanks.

Why would you not use PKP? they sponsor this very site that you're asking for powder coating on..... They also give us awesome deals on stuff.

Powder Tech (if they are still there) on corner of Forsythe and Old Winter Garden Rd. Great work and very good prices but last time I had anything done there was about 14 yrs ago!

1) NEVER did I say I wasn't gonna use them.
2) Was wondering if there was a place specifically in Ormond maybe.
3) Wasn't aware of there sponsorship to the site.
4) Never used Powder Kote Plus and was wanting some feed back.
5) :a:

I had some aluminum boat stuff welded and the welder then brought the parts here:
Decorative Electro Coating
1518 State Ave # C, Holly Hill, FL

When I went to pick the stuff up the owner of the coating place told me to throw a few dollars to the guy spraying the powder. Impressive operation, does powder and anodizing.

both posts that i replied to had a sentance with a question mark at the end. as in this ??????????
maybe for future reference so that i may understand these post rather then reading them for what they are. You should put a level of 1 to 10 of just playing, or somewhat serious, or really serious , just my 2 cents, but im glad that i could make this thread epic. till next time.

Ive seen some there too! Once asked them about ordering a stage 3 jet kit for a 1999 Zx12. The guy feverishly thumbed through the tuckerrocky catalog while I impatiently tapped on the counter...lol.
I guess the pressure got to him and he asked for more time to research...er I mean look it up! :D

Nope i dont have to tell you anything, you have enough brain cells left *maybe* to know what time it is. But just in case you might want to ride instead of talk smack, just look me up, im not hard to find at all and we meet at the same place every week so you might even be able to fine the place.

Fine a place? Is that some sort of hillbilly slang that I don't know? :p
Here we go again.......i've done sunday rides, thursday rides, late night I.M. lets meet and ride rides, and one trackday.
But there are some people that just like the joy of riding a motorcycle to commute, to dinner, to the movies, to DMS and bike nights for get togethers. Those same people may not have a bike for the same reason other people bought the same exact or similar bike. Some people don't do sunday rides because of some of the other people on that ride. Not all of the rides on the forum are posted. A lot of them are initiated via text or IM due to the fact that there is tighter control of who is on said ride.
shit, i just saw a squirrel..........

Just so happens this is the place I ended up going. Did a great job and powdered both wheels for $100 "less" then what PowderKote Plus quoted me. Being a sponsor of this forum wouldn't have put $100 extra dollars in my pocket from PKP. Sponsor or not...I'm shopping around.
