since I have had my suspension adjusted after time riding on it I have decided that the front end is too soft. It mushes and rises in and out of corners. Its an inverted fork setup I think like most of you guys have on your bikes as well. My question is dumb and probably screams that I should not touch my motorcycle. What do I turn too make it tighter there is a a couple of bolt like nugs then a copper like top with a notch that a panhead screwdriver would fit in. I just am unsure how too adjust this and could use a bit of guidance. Thanks.

Did Rick Croly Adjust it? If he did, call him. I am pretty smart when it comes to suspension and I refuse to touch mine.

Yeah, take him up on his offer to adjust it. He does excellent work with suspension.

Yeah definetly call him. Why mess with something you really have no idea what you are messing with?

dial in 1-2 lines of front spring pre-load and 1/4-1/2 turn of front compression. That should help with the "mushyness" on the down stroke.
