View Full Version : Chain or sprockets...
Ok, so i left a light first gear fine, shift into second little gas, and drop the clutch....(yes dropped the clutch), and bang nothin.....third nuthin.....i could feel and hear the chain bind on the front sprocket, not sure if it binded or slid itself back on so i coast to a stop......walk it to where a bunch of sportbike guys by my house hang out.......less than a block.....put it in first and it's fine....rode it home fine.....when i got home i checked the chain slack and it had some extra play, so could it have been the chain had too much slack and slid around the sprocket..... :? :? :? :? :?: :?: :?

Hahaha. Just get new sprockets and a chain and we'll have a wrench day.

Sounds like fun to me! It probbaly did setup a wave around the chain that caused it to pop off the front sprocket. You probably dont need a new chain or sprocket but you should check them anyway
ordering them anyway, the fronts been kinda bad since i threw the last chain a year and a half ago.....
