View Full Version : pulling fi codes from 05 gsxr 600
I have been told that the special dealer tool used by the dealer to pull the FI code is really no more then a jumper. Does anyone know how to do this?

Not sure on your bike, but i know its just a jumper on my ZX-6R as well. Find a GSXR specific forum to find out how.
go to Gixxer.com and search for dealer mode, you can jump it or buy a box that allows you just to switch back and forth

Gixxer dot com will tell you how to do it.
Well after a few hours of research on gixxer.com I have a better idea of what I'm looking for.
The description in the book kept saying jump the plug diagnol but that is not the case. It's a black wire with a white stripe and a red wire, one on top of the other. these wires are located in a small plug sometimes white sometimes gray underneath the seat. It will be covered with a rubber cap. With the ignition on jump these two wires at the end of the plug using a paperclip. The code came right out. That's the good news. The bad news is the code ended up being c28, which is the secondary throttle valve actuator. A part connected to the throttle bodies that is not sold seperately and it's not suppost to be removed.
