Race ecm

I am considering purchasing this race ecm from ebay for my buell. It says I will need throttle recalibration after installation. Is this a common thing or exclusive too buell too need the throttle recalibrated for a ecm upgrade. Here is a link too what im considering.

Not too sure about anything Buell, but it sounds like a simple hookup to a computer at the dealer. Shouldnt be too bad, but give them a call to know for sure.

Simple hookup at the dealer might equal simple forfeiture of any warranty, not sure if your bike is new or not though......

2003 model owned outright. 3000 miles on it. This bike has a d&d muffler on it. Not sure what kind of diff this would make performance wise but it has too be some.

Well after I got that quote from Rick Croly I decided too call an official buell dealership and see what they would quote me. Not only do I trust Rick based on the expertise he showed us yesterday at our suspension dial in but now I know he is giving us seriously good prices too. I was quoted over 300 dollars from buell too do the work Rick quoted me 150-175 for and I trust him more than them too top it off.
