My front rim has a bit of a dent in it. It happened during all the construction on 40, I unexpectedly hit some uneven pavement and it put a dent right across the front rim. The tire holds air, but it bothers me a low speed and there is a slight vibration at high speed.

My question is: is that fixable, and how would I go about doing it?

Or should I just start looking to purchase a front rim?

Thanks guys (and girls)

It’s barely noticeable. Just on the lip of each side of the rim. You can see the line across where the uneven pavement hit the rim. Thinking about it…if I had the tire off seems like I could somehow smash it back into shape.

Go hit the same patch of concrete at the same exact speed, but make sure you hit it with the other side of the tire, 180 from the current dent...

Should fix it right up

I have a piece of hardwood that I use for jobs like that.

I'd beat it back. I had one of my Busa wheels "straightened", should've kept my money.

they've been repairing alloy and magnesium rims for us for 20 years, it will be perfect & it doesn't damage the original paint/coating
expect to spend $150-$225 depending on severity of repair, plus shipping
