Sorry Wayne I backed up a couple pages to double check, looks like ya'll were talking about a ride on the 21st to me. Didn't mean to upset anyone, We were just talking about a slower pace sometime so the girls would enjoy the ride too. The more rides the better :D
No apology needed at all. As a newcomer to this stuff I feel there is room for all levels in a ride like this. Running like your hair is on fire is great... but some can’t or won’t do that.
In the last ride I was in a group of bikes that was in the middle and was happy at that pace. The lead group was going places I was not able to go but they were always waiting at the next turn without fail.
So I feel there is no reason for anyone to feel uncomfortable with their pace, hell I will never be at the level of some.
What I think is important is that we try to do things as a group and keep the enthusiasm alive. That is what it is about for me. :!:

Hey Raven, Rick Croly with Team Hooters has moved his shop to 92 by the Budweiser place in Deland. I haven't dealt with them before, but as soon as I get my funds in order I will be gettin mine done. I've talked to one of his mechanics at the Sanford Hooters numerous times. Supposedly, Rick's the man when it comes to setting ride heights, sag, and changing fluids, I just don't know what kind of off the street business he does. Also, heard great things about Todd at TTR Motorsports down south of Sanford way (407-923-3320). And the guy that works(I think he still does) at Bankstons(http://www.beckstech.com/) That should get you started. Sorry for the long winded, thread jack!

I didn't mean anyone had to slow down, Hell I ride as fast as anyone out there. We weren't trying to sound like a "click", I love big crowds of enthusiastic riders. We were just trying to extend an invitation to some folks who feel like they are holding up others that we'll be happy to go on a slower paced ride any time they want. The more anyone rides the more comfortable they'll feel. The more people who are out there having fun yhe better it is for everyone. Now I'll just sit back here and be quiet.

Am Up, Am Up LOL cya guys in a little bit.

Well i just got back. It was a awesome ride with a beautiful day. Only 2 problems occured today and that was my friend Tim on his yellow F4i Honda after the first 2 stops the cords on his rear tire were showing. The tire was done and there was no way he was going to make it back to daytona on that tire lol. Fortunately though the guys from EOS helped out and we ended going to Mike's shop after lunch to replace Tim's rear tire. Greg one of the riders was nice enough to give his 1500 mile stock bridgestone rear tire to Tim. So after 15-20 minutes we continued back on the ride. Amanda and keving(steedaboss) ended their run after lunch because Amanda's kawasaki was experiencing problems with the battery and in the end am assuming that it died. Am sure kevin will chime in here later on. Anyways overall it was a very good ride and i'll be back out there next sunday again with those guys LOL.

Well, we got home, after hobling, choking, backfiring...but it should just be the battery...we will get it fixed this week so we can ride again on Sunday...so for those of you that will be there....C-Ya.....
