Anyone interested in going? I've never been but am itching to give it a try.

The website is here:
http://www.jenningsgp.com/index.htm

Mondays are supposed to be a good deal - it's cheaper and less people. If you're interested, post and and let's start planning.

I know me and Bryant with the R6 have been planning on going next semester. Would be cool to head up there as a group.

What are the requirements to run there? How much?

I know you have to remove turn signals, mirrors, tags\light, tape over head\tail lights, & remove all light fuses. Can't remember what the $ is.

Click on the link and then click on track days. That brings up everything you need to know about preping your bike.

According to their site, the minimum prep is taping up the lights - everything else is recommended but not required. Also required are leathers, boots (over ankle), gloves (over wrist) and a helmet.

Why wait til spring? I was there last weekend and the weather was perfect. And I'll be going a couple times next month too.

It really is beginner friendly. I've done lead-follow for beginners before they open the track. And you only have to go as fast as you're comfortable. Mondays are best, as in practically having the track to yourself. I will definately go if everyone agrees on a day and offer all the help you want. If everyone wants to meet up some night and find out more, just let me know. I can answer all your questions over a plate of wings and maybe we can get the "pros" like dbsuperbiker and berzerker to join us

Im up for it. Id like to know exactly what I need to do to the bike to have it ready for the track.

The only problem i would have is I don't have the luxury of trailering the bike and i sure as hell don't want to drive the bike up there but may have to do it that way. May have to rent a uhaul or something but even that gets expensive$$.

The only thing you "have" to do to the bike is to tape up the lights.

I have a full size pickup and a big ass bobcat trailer - probably can fit 6 on the trailer and 1 on the truck
