HAS ANYONE TAKEN THEIR RIDE TO BANKSTON'S IN DAYTONA? I'VE HAD REALLY BAD LUCK W\JIM WALKERS & FUN MACHINES BOTH. LOOKING FOR A SHOP THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING & THAT I CAN TRUST
Call Jim in the Parts Dept. at Deland Motorsports. He is a member on this board and a good guy. Don't tell him I said that. He will steer you in the right direction and help if he can. He may even post up if he's browsing the board.
I really can't comment on Bankstons or any other. Having a bike serviced and keeping it clean are overrated.....just kidding guys...but dirt does make you faster.

What do you need done and what kind of bike ?
might not be the right thread to ask this, but i recently had a chain replaced, and since i got it back, it just dosen't seem to accelerate like it did before that, went from gold to silver, same size sprockets, and the adjusters were moved in a lot more, is there a weight difference between gold and silver, and if so does rotational mass make that much of a diffeence for a chain?

plating on the chain won't make any difference.
have you verified same size sprockets front & back?
check for rear wheel drag, while bike is on a swingarm stand. if it doesn't rotate freely, start looking for why
rear axle over torqued, rear brake drag, missing spacers, etc
or bring it by & we'll look inspect it for you & advise needs F.O.C.

That's where I was going with this.
Tony will take care of you on just about anything. He's kind of funny looking, but he knows bikes.
