RC51 - accelerating and at about 6,000 rpms, the engine revs up to the limiter real fast, but the bike doesn't particularly accelerate in sync. Just noticed it today and was able to repeat it several times. Any ways to diagnose it better?

Thanks

unless that is in a lower gear and the r wheel is spinning, you have a slipping clutch. sometimes a stiffer c;utch spring(s) will cure it without plates and discs. dont antagonize it until it is fixed, as further damage will result.

make sure the cable isn't binding, it needs to be out to work. Other than that it sounds like it's clutch time.

Haven't changed anything but a rear tire

Greg, you think if you rode it you'd be able to tell?
