Just hypothetically speaking, if someone was riding their ZX-6R in first gear at an idle obeying all laws of traffic, gravity and physics while admiring the scenery of the mountain roads around Deal's Gap, and subsequently had a discussion with NC Hwy Patrol about certain allegations involving jail..... and again hypothetically, got a reduced charge.......Would the driving offense show up on FL License, or more importantly, FL Insurance?
Just curious, of course........

I can tell you if you're riding around Deal's Gap and get stopped by a Blount County deputy it will happen. I expect the same for NC.
But I can also tell you a well placed call to a judge can get it taken care of over the phone. At least that's what happened to me.... I mean someone I know.

It just happened to me that way. I'm not sure why, but I had a conversation with a clerk and she fixed it.

Ok, It's been further reduced to just 9mph over. All things considered, I'm gonna have to go with it.

It will eventually show on Fla record. So much for professional courtesy, did you let him know your line of work?

I'm only concerned if my insurance goes up. I have 4 cars, a bike, a boat and a 15 y/o getting her permit. And yes, he saw my badge and we talked but he said he had to do what he would to others. But I was thankful for the break I did get.
