Brian K. Brichler, 50, of Aviston, Ill., born June 29, 1955, in St. Charles, Mo., died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at St. Joseph Hospital, Breese, Ill.
Mr. Brichler was a teacher's aid at Central High School in Breese, Ill.
Brian was a 1973 graduate of Wesclin High School in Trenton, Ill., and a 1977 graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Edwardsville, Ill. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Trenton, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edmund F. Brichler; a brother, Edmund Brichler; and a father-in-law, Robert Ramsey.
Surviving are his wife, Mary, nee Ramsey, Brichler, whom he married Aug. 6, 1977, at St. John United Church of Christ, Trenton, Ill.; his mother, Janet, nee Pohlman, Brichler of Trenton, Ill.; a son, Adam Brichler of Aviston, Ill.; a brother, David Brichler of Ormond Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Juila (David) Woodul of San Antonio, Texas, Annette (Dean) Mueller of Edwardsville, Ill., and Barbara (James) Pittman of Dallas, Texas; and mother-in-law, Macel Ramsey of Trenton, Ill.
Memorials may be made to his son's educational fund, Muscular Dystrophy, or to St. John United Church of Christ and will be received at the church or through Moss Funeral Home, Trenton , Ill.
