Some of you already know, for those of you who don't follow these two links for the full story, pics of my x-rays  , and all about my surgery... Hard to type it out with one hand, but I do plan to ride again after I recover :D 8) . Also, the bike is fine, just needs a left rear set and probably a new left clip on.

OK, you can retire from that crashing stuff, you earned your nickname the first time.
Seriously, glad to hear you will make it on and I hope you heal up quick.

Well I've had some complications since surgery, but all in all I am okay, I just can't seem to stop getting sick :(... Couple more weeks and I'm going to try to get on the bike again and see how the arm does. I technically have 4 weeks of recovery left...

From what I got from her mom she will keep her arm and should regain function of it. She cant move her hand now but she couldnt after the last one either for a few weeks.
:D Get well soon!!
Courtney,
I don't think we've ever met but my thoughts are with you. I hope all turns out well. Good luck!

Still no function of my left hand, I have a huge scar now from my shoulder to my elbow, I can already tell its starting to become a keloid which is pretty depressing... I find out tomorrow if theres bone growth, if theres none and it turns into an infected non-union since they already removed 4 inches of bone the arm will have to come off at the shoulder... Cross your fingers :D !!!

Copied from my post on SBN yesterday:
Well just got home from my ortho appt a couple hours ago, more bad news, I swear it doesn't end... So today he asks me to take my hand out of the brace and I do and like usual it just hangs at the wrist. Except this time he acts surprised, I've been taking Neurontin for a couple of weeks now, apparently if there was a radial nerve in there it should be working by now with that med. So he grasps my upper arm on both sides and starts lightly squeezing asking me if it hurts, and I'm like "no it doesn't, it hasn't hurt at all in my upper arm with this second surgery just in my hand and forearm", then he gives me this panicked look like "are you serious??". Then it dawned on me as to why it hadn't hurt, obviously the nerve had been severed or else I would have had a pinching constant burning pain in my upper arm like a bruised/stretched nerve should feel like b/c thats the only other way my hand could be the way it is, but I've had 0 pain at all. He told he in his entire career hes never seen anyone with a radial nerve palsey post surgery or any nerve palsey for that matter. The only way he can figure it was severed ws if it was tangled up in a mass of scar and dead muscle tissue he removed or if for some reason instead of te nerve running the bottom of my humerus like its supposed to it ran the top and was severed initially during surgery. In two weeks they are going to do an EMG to see where its severed so they are positive thats whsat the problem is. Right now I can kinda pull my fingers in but he said that is controlled by a different nerve, but I can't move my thumb in or up and I can't move any of my fingers up or move my hand up and down thats all controlled by the radial nerve. The corrective surgery he said for that will be taking the tendon from underneath my forearm and moving it to the top of my wrist that way I can bring my hand up and down, but I still won't be able to bring my fingers up. He said hes really happy he was able to save my arm, but upset about my hand, mainly b/c even w/ the non-union fracture before the second surgery I still had really good movement of my wrist/hand/fingers, now I have next to none. No bone growth yet though, I asked him what happens if I get another non-union, he just said I'll have to have more surgery on it if it does....
