Rumor has it that the track day was cancelled

I removed the announcement.

I would have expected "official" notice it was cancelled but instead I got an email from someone else to tell me it was wrong. I got a personal email asking me to post it, but I didn't see anything sent to me to remove it or change it. grrrrrrr

I am sorry I was negligent in passing this info on to this group, I have soo many groups I was posting info on for the track day that I forgot some of them. Please forgive me. The Track day of the 10th of Feb for a private day had to be canceled for these reasons.
1. The track needed a 1,000.00 fee up front, not enough interest was expressed in ponying up the cash and I don't have 1,000.00 just laying around I could use.
2. Not enough people could confirm in order to make if affordable to rent the track.
3. I will endever to make this info more widely know next time. Sooner.

4. we decided instead to patronize a Jennings GP track day on the 3rd of Feb that would require no reservations or commitment. Just 85.00 for the day and all you must do is show up with a track prepped bike. There should be about 8-10 maybe more of us up there for the 3rd so please feel free to join us and get to know us. Again sorry for the lack of notification.

Thanks for the clarification, I was a bit lost trying to explain the other date and the questions I was being asked since I wasn't running the show. Didn't mean to sound so harsh above, thanks again for the info.
