Hello, I just found your site, and I am impressed. I'm new to the message board, and would like to say hi. I used to ride with the group of people that hung-out at the Krystal's parking lot. Then we went to Wendy's. I sold my VFR800 and haven't hung out since. Does everyone still meet beachside and go riding on saturday, and thursday nights?
Its nice to meet new people and hopefully see some friends that I have lost touch with. The VFR is gone, but I can ride my girlfriends GS500E and my street legal WR400. See you guys later, Tom.

Hi Tom and welcome.

There seems to be a few scattered groups around town and I really don't think there are any "official" ride nights other than Tuesday bike nights at Hooters but people do still collect in the usual spots. I try to get out as much as possible but with my schedule and the weather lately that hasn't been much.

Just a quick question, how did you find this site ? I think most of the people here got here by word of mouth but it's starting to turn up consistantly in search engines too. Just my curiosity.

Dave

It was a google search I think that lead me to the site, then I came here. Something like that, I cant remember, it was 3 o'clock in the morning. Hey - quick question for you - where did you buy your 12? I used to work at DFM, a few years ago, so if you used to come in there, we probably have met. gotta run, ride safe, Tom.

Cool, thanks for the reply.

I bought my 2000 12 at DFM from Gary who left there to be a fireman. I bought my 2002 12 from a friend @ Seminole Power Sports.

I know most of the long timers at DFM, Chris of course, Mark and Mike in service, Todd left recently. I've been doing business with them since Terry ran the parts counter, that may have been before your time, he is at Crane now.

Wow, you have been doing business there for years. I sold Todd his new house, I left to do RealEstate. Then my girlfriend and I opened up our own company for Bike and Auto sales. I remember Gary, he was (and as far as I know, still is) good friends with Cory (Chris' son). I'm sure if I met you, I'd remember you. I stood out in that crowd, you might remember me - the only red headed salesman there.

Yup, I've spent a lot of time and money there. I'm sure we'll meet soon. Selling bikes and cars now ? I think we do need to meet.

yeah, not to make a shameless plug or anything, but check out my site, and you'll see what I have right now. I also will be getting more motorcycles next wednesday. Hopefully sportbikes, maybe a cruiser or two. Have to see what happens.
