The Problems With the Board suck, sorry

Here's the latest, you don't have to do anything, just FYI.

We continue to work diligently on our current system problems, and apologize for the delay in reporting to you.

At this time, we know of three major server problems. Pub21 and Pub121 remain down at this time. We also have the ezboard image hosting server (www.myezboard.com) down at present, which means that any board hosting their images with us are unable to serve them. We are working directly with our colocation facility to get these servers back online as soon as possible.

While all other servers are currently in operation, we will likely continue to have some intermittent slowness as everything comes back fully on line.

We will post regular updates here for you, and again appreciate your patience through this difficult period.

Since there are so many different boards hosted by EZBoard they split up the work on many servers (computers). Each is known as a pub (publication) server. Typically these servers will be split up even more in several locations with different communications connections (phone lines) in an effort to keep as many alive as possible in an event of a failure of some sort like power or phone.

It's the computer way of not putting all your eggs in one basket.

Looks like the one we were on got hit and others kept running so they moved us to one that was still up. With all computers some are faster than others and the more work you put on one, even a fast one, will slow it down. We are supposed to be moved to a faster server soon, but until they clear up these problems it may be a little while. If you want to see what type of server were're on look at the address above and it will say pubxxx like right now it says pub137. Numbers that are in the 100's are supposed to be faster, we were on one that was a pub21. OK, I'm getting in too deep again.

For now if you saved the old path as an address which was pub21.ezboard.com/bdaytonasportbikes (http://pub21.ezboard.com/bdaytonasportbikes) you are being redirected here by their computers which allow you to still find this without changing your favorites. In the future you may want to change that to the real link, but if one day you can't find this board the "real" web site www.daytonasportbikeriders.com/ (http://www.daytonasportbikeriders.com/) will always have the real link.
