Anyone up for a ride to Ocala area Sunday 01/19

To all,

Thinking of a ride up to the Ocala National forest area next Sunday. Post up if you are interested. I think Daytona Dave and TJ and Staish should know some good roads in that area.

If not I will scout out the area during the week.

Meeting place would be Friendly's in De Land again about 9:30.

Alternative route would be the loop and some selected roads near Daytona.

Meeting at Hooters on international at 9:30.

Post up if your interested. Post up your choice of route (Ocala vs Daytona local) or your own suggested route.

Staish, you know the "point" ,it's the little "track" that we went to in Poicenna(sp?)....I Highly suggest we do that on a weekday(during the week I've never seen a cop there and i'll run for a couple of hours)TO MANY COPS and high volume of bikes on weekends.....just my opinion..

I would be up for a ride too on the 19th.....maybe even the same route we did or whatever..

An additional option to the Ocala run, Local Daytona Loop run,
is Stuntwars in Lakeland.

Please post up what route you would like to ride.

I hope that by Sat morning we will have the meeting place, time and route posted here.

I think I will meet them at Snack Jacks about 11:30 to 12:00. I don't plan to ride with them though. Just meet up and do some garage racing and get to know them. I might ride with them from Snack Jacks back toward Orlando but I will stop at the Port Orange area. Motogeezer seems to be a nice guy and besides he's from England. Being a Guzzy rider is different and I would like to meet him. I did see some tricked out Guzzies during the last bike week that looked quite tasty.

I am still trying to get my father in law to give up the Ducati's and get a real affordable, less maintenance and more reliable Japanese Bike, but he is having none of it. Maybe he will change his mind when he gets better and rides the gixxer! It will be a world of difference to the bandit! He keeps saying "piss off" he likes jap bikes but would never own one. He however would not turn down the chance to ride one however! It seems those Englishmen don't really care for Jap bikes.
