Dave,

Riverdeck is on RT1 south of Beville road but north of Dunlawton behind the daytona bowl. Here is their website: www.daytonabowl.com/RiverDeck.htm (http://www.daytonabowl.com/RiverDeck.htm)

If you want we can meet up at hooters across for the track at 6:30 or so, or we can just meet up at riverdeck. Unless you want to meet up at the Cabbage Patch <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT=";)">

I have never been to this Bike Nite so I have no idea of what kind of bikes or how many people show up.

Regards,

Brent

I'd like to but I'll be out of town until Friday afternoon. The River Deck is nice, I'm not sure how bike friendly it is but if they do what the Marina Deck did that would be cool. Otherwise you can't see the bikes parked from the river area.

I think Ruby Tuesday's has a bike night on Tuesdays now. Funny you'd think they'd keep the bike population better informed.

Have fun,

Dave

We may swing by in the cage (ARGH) as we have other plans before that. I never even knew they had a bike night there!

Sorry we missed you guys last night. We came through the parking lot probably around 8:30 but there weren't any spots to park and we were tired, so we went on home. We did see your bikes. Were there ever many there? When we came through, just the R6 and GSXR and two cruisers in the lot. The rest were cars. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/frown.gif ALT=":(">

Staish,

Not too many bikes there as you noticed. There were probably 15 people there in all. I think most people drove their cage. This is a night that according to Mark for Walkers Suzuki is just getting started. They plan some different theme nights like old bike, sportbike, etc with some door prizes for the winner. They are going to get Riverdeck to do some drink and food specials next Thursday. Walker's plans to bring a bike from the showroom floor for each theme night. Like a RC51, new R1 with the red flame color scheme etc.

Mark made it sound that the two wheeled Tuesday at Ruby Tuesday's has a pretty good crowd. I don't know why these events aren't better advertised though. I told Mark about this site and he asked me to spread the word about the Thursday night plans. Mark was unaware of this site.

In all you really didn't miss much last night.

We must have left right after you pulled up.

Deland Dave did talk to a guy who had a ZX-12R set up for drag racing with nitrous, big bore kit etc. but he left pretty early though after a small burn out in the parking lot. Dave said he claimed 234 rwhp on the dyno. I have my doubts on the hp claim though.

Brent

A 12 with nitrous and it only makes 234 ? Sounds a little weak to me.

I also sent links to the site to all those dealers, they just don't seem interested. Their loss.

hey the guy said 225 rwh w/o nitro. he said it was prob 240 or so with nitro. he claimed he had a 1350cc big bore kit, with 2-20lb mixed blend bottles. altho im no cycle expert, but i have a mechanical background and this guy seemed to know what he was talkin about...

dave, one question, this 12r guy said he had "electron induction carbs?" have you ever heared of this? he said it was drag racing related. cause i saw that he trimmed his ram air scoop up front, and he said he used these electron carbs instead of the ram air. im still trying to find info on it, but do you have a clue about it?

yea i finally found it...its Lectron Carbs. EzCode Parsing Error:=www.lectronfuelsystems.co...l_info.htm (http://www.lectronfuelsystems.com/technical_info.htm) [ is the site. anyways this makes more sence than electron induction LOL...what would ionizing your intake air mixture do for HP? hehe

Hey Dave,

225 HP with a stroker kit is pretty common on a ZX-12. Stock (all rear wheel numbers) a 12 will pull about 165, with minor mods like a pipe and PCIII and proper mapping it goes to 175-185. Mine is at 185, maybe a bit more now. With the big bore kit which is 1270 you can expect 195-210 and the 1361 stroker kit it's around 215-230. These are all rough numbers. It's common to have other things like headwork done while the engine is apart to add performance. I have a friend in Knoxville that has a 12 with a 1270 kit and some head work and his makes around 225 and is a very streetable feel and fun to ride.

Nitrous on these bikes you should deliver about 70 HP additional on a stock engine. Bikes with built engines can usually do much more. I know it was a guy talking at a bar but the additional numbers for nitrous don't make much sense.

I also have no idea why you would do anything to the fuel system on one of these bikes. It is fuel injected and has a pressurized airbox and unlike most fuel injection systems it uses multiple atmosphere sensors, one in the box and one in the tail, to calculate the delivery rate. The PCIII allows you to adjust the system to deliver the needed fuel and even the pros that run modified 12's use this system because it works well. The ram air on these bikes also produces about 12 more HP on a stock engine so it it very useful at speed. I could see using one of those system on a bike that wasn't injected but it seems a bit backward to remove injection on one that is. But what do I know, I'm just a guy with a bike.
