Seeing as TJ and I have been trying to hook up with these guys and ride, let's start our Sunday ride here. TJ and I were planning an all-day ride, so once this ride is over, we may continue on. Sound okay to everyone? Matt and anyone coming from Port Orange or south of here, we can meet at the 7-11 on the NW corner of US1 and Dunlawton and go from there at 9:15. Don't be late or we'll leave without ya! If you miss us there, just continue up 1 to the barber shop at 1700 Ridgewood Ave. and we'll see you there. Looking forward to meeting and seeing everyone.

Reply if you want to, so we'll get an idea of who wants to ride.

Dunno yet. I e-mailed Ray this morning and asked him, but they only plan on riding 2 hours and usually we like to go all day. For the later afternoon part, we ride fairly hard and will probably hit a few curves and break a few speed limits. The way we ride, we encourage everyone to ride their own pace and we always wait at any turnoffs so people don't get lost. Those who want to ride more conservatively can catch up and we have no problem waiting on them. We don't want anyone riding over their heads, that's for sure. No pressure here.

Just hope it clears up by then. Tonight is maintenance time in the garage. Staish I know TJ doesn't know what that is so it may be a new word for him.

This group is not to insane. Some like the speed limits some are wheelie freaks and some like to stay in 3 digits. But all are safe to be around. We may follow you guys if you have a better route. We are up for anything. GsxrRay

You are SO right! Actually, right after bike week, he's tearing the old girl down and going to redo his shock, forks, bearings and whatever else he can figure out to do. He's had a new chain in the garage for a few months now but it hasn't made it onto the bike yet. I ordered a new chain and sprockets for the F4 and they'll probably be on before his are!

Looking forward to the ride on Sunday and hopefully it won't rain. Sorry you can't be there, Charlie but we'll see you next time.

well..i had a really shitty day today..i went to open the trunk on my bike to get my hat out of it, and, i can't find my key...i looked allllll dam day for that thing and i can't find it..i was in a mood all day today...i bought the bike used and didn't get a spare with it...so it looks like i won't be able to make it tomorow and i was really looking foward to it too...I'm gonna hafta call a locksmith probably to come out and see what he can do for me, which probably means pay 75-150$ for a new key...I'm not very happy right now..hopefully we can all meet up at the bikeweek meet i have planned...

Is the key in the trunk ?

You can usually take the lock number to a locksmith or some of the more advanced key cutting places and they can make you one from that. Look closely on the ignition or on the lock to open the seat for the number. Just make sure you bring a copy of the title or registration with you because they may think it's for your neighbor's bike and you're just looking for a quick ride. Call around, I don't think it's as bad as you think, it's the house call that will hurt you, usually a key cut from the lock number is no more expensive than any other copy.

Oh, and while you're getting a key made, get an extra.
