Great choice Dave! I am curious as to the reduction in vibration from a heavier crank and how significant the comfort on long rides is compared to the 2k due to a more aggressive rider position. Happy to see you are back in the saddle again <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D">

Thanks guy. Hope I have good luck with this one.

Matt, I was going up Clyde Morris about 7:30, but the bike was on a trailer so it wasn't me you saw.

We'll have to catch up sometime.

Dave, Good Luck with your new bike great color. Keep the rubber side down and ride like you stole it.

Picked mine up on Saturday, I traded a 2000. I owned this one for 2 years and no problems.
I got the black/gold job. have done 250 miles.
The engine is sweet and the handling impressive, I think the
Dunlop 208s are good but how long will they last ?.
I am concerned with the front suspension, its very hard even
with everthing wound down. I live in Ireland and our roads have a lot of bumps. When I hit a bump the front jumps off the road.
What is your experience ?

The fron and rear are different. When you say wound down on the front, you don't mean literally do you ? The preload increases the more down it is set.

I think the bike handles much better then the '00 I had but I'm still playing with the suspension.

I have spring preload showing 5 rings on the fornt damping and rebound at min setting.
Reduced spring preload on back 3 turns again damping on min.
I had a fast run and its not too bad.
Yes the handling is better, a lot quicker no need to brake just
power through the bends.
Fantastic on roundabouts ( knee down )
I am off to the Nurburgring next month.
Still getting used to the bike.
