Sources close to Honda and Ben Bostrom say that the soon to be former World Superbike rider turned AMA Superbike pilot for Honda may race some selected 600 Supersport events in 2003.
There is talk that Honda may have a brace of factory Honda Supersport machines at selected AMA rounds next year. Races such as Daytona may see Ben Bostrom and other Honda factory pilots putting in 600 duty. The official plan is for DuHamel to be the lead rider for Honda's factory 600 effort.
Speaking last week, Bostrom's manager, Fred Bramblett, said on the subject, "Never say never. I don't think he will run the series as a going concern to try to win the title, his focus will be on Superbike. But some one-off races, that's possible."
